Lately I have had tons of questions about what skincare I use. Honestly, I don’t do anything special. My biggest trick to taking care of my skin has been sticking to a routine. I don’t have the smoothest, most glowing skin. However, my skin has transformed completely since I have found a regime that works for me and I have stuck with it. No more going to bed with makeup on and ALWAYS cleansing well after the pool or lake.
Below I will list the products I use (in order) along with quick links for you to shop the products as well! I will also let you know my recommendations for skincare services I like to do when I can!
1. Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
Im not even going to post a link because this product can be found virtually anywhere. Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, or Ulta. Wherever you shop, it will be there. This product is essential. A good face wash is the most important part of any regime. I don’t care if you use my recommendation or if you’ve found one you love. Be consistent with your use of it. Never skip your face wash, girls!
2. NuSkin Mattifying Toner - https://seekingshayla.com/products/mattifying-toner
Use code CLEAROUT for 25% off
For people with oily skin, using a toner is an important every day tool to use to keep your oil amounts under control. I have used everything from high end products to drug store. I’ve had some I liked and others that are stilll sitting under my bathroom cabinet. Even those this may seem like a shameless plug I can assure you it isn’t. I originally ordered this product out of curiosity after I had already found a toner I had like, but I wondered about the mattifying portion of this product. My skin has never felt better because of this. Especially on these gross humid days, I don’t have to worry about my makeup sliding right off.
3. Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti Wrinkle Moisturizer - https://www.ulta.com/stem-cellular-anti-wrinkle-moisturizer?productId=xlsImpprod3670097&sku=2236870&cmpid=PS_Non!google!Product_Listing_Ads&cagpspn=pla&CATCI=pla-79336459710&CAAGID=29315862390&CAWELAID=973272173&catargetid=330000200000765707&cadevice=m&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0ZGb8rO82wIVhLjACh0IQQjwEAQYASABEgK44fD_BwEI
I first discovered this product when I received a free sample from Ulta! I originally loved it because the product smells SO GOOD! I quickly realized how glowing it made my skin that I can’t stop buying it! This one is pricier but the jar lasts FOREVER! The all natural benefits of this formula are the best! Wrinkle creams are a great thing to start at any age! Wrinkle prevention is even better!
4. Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer - https://www.ulta.com/oil-free-moisturizer-spf-30?productId=xlsImpprod6200803&sku=2220943&cmpid=PS_Non!google!Product_Listing_Ads&cagpspn=pla&CATCI=aud-370516521359:pla-383028100016&CAAGID=33747775595&CAWELAID=330000200000057457&CATARGETID=330000200001298589&cadevice=m&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIm-Kl97W82wIVER2BCh1uxA_2EAkYBCABEgK5Y_D_BwE
Day time, lake time, or pool time this is my moisturizer. Keeping your face hydrated is always a good tip when it comes to skincare. For me, this product worked and the best part is it is a sunscreen as well. When choosing a daytime moisturizer it’s always best to find a product that contains an SPF. I am a very big fan of the entire Mario line but this is the only product I use on a regular basis. When looking up Mario Badescu online I recommend checking out the drying cream as well for breakouts and pesky pimples!
Now that you’ve seen the products I use daily here is some recommendations for services to keep your skin looking great. Facials are always a good idea. I don’t get them as often as I would like too, but if you can I suggest getting them every few weeks. Another thing that is great for fine lines, dry skin, and scars is Microdermabrasions. This is another service that will help with oil control!
